PrimeNet Security Services has experience designing and
building radio frequency tracking systems throughout the
Baltimore/Washington area. PrimeNet specializes in providing
these systems to health care facilities but can easily
configure these systems to track physical assets.
The Infant Abduction System places a small RF transmitter
on a newborn infant so hospital staff can track the
baby's location in the maternity ward. When an infant
wearing a transmitter enters an area being secured by
the Infant Abduction System the following occurs:
 |
Doors automatically lock |
 |
Elevator control buttons are disabled |
 |
Alarm sound locally and at the nurse station |
 |
Cameras record the event at the location |
 |
Pagers alert staff |
 |
Graphic Display Panel shows baby's location |
The
Patient Wandering system is similar to the Infant Abduction
system but intended for elderly care facilities to use
for Alzheimer's patients. This system uses the same
equipment as mentioned above, anyone who is not wearing
a transmitter will be able to go through doors and onto
elevators normally.
PrimeNet Security Services employees have installed
these types of systems for the past ten years all over
the country. PrimeNet realizes the great liability issues
involved with Infant Abduction/Patient Wandering, so
we provide our customers with the best design, engineering,
and installation available.
Asset Tracking is a means for an employer to keep valuable
equipment and tools secure. This system can easily place
a transmitter on computers, laptops, and other office
equipment to keep them from leaving a building or specific
area. The same equipment is utilized as mentioned in
the previous systems.
